When does registration start?
Gates open at 7am, and check-in will begin at 7:30. Check-in and day-of registration will be held in the Oswald Visitors Center.
Is the race timed?
Yes, runners will recieve a chip at check-in. Results will be posted on our website and on raceberryjam.com.
How can I register?
You can register by clicking the link on our home page, or the register button in the menu bar. In order to register you will have to create an account with the Arboretum Online Store.
I have an account with the online store, but can't remember my password!
When you access the online store page, there will be a login button on the top right. Click Login, and under returing customers, you will see see a reset link. Click this link to enter your email address to reset your password!
I want to register myself and a friend! Is this possible?
Yes absolutely! But you must provide their age, birthday, gender, t-shirt size, city and state. If we do not recieve all of this information, they will not be entered into the race!
I want to race with a team! How can I do this?
On the registration page, you can sign-up your group or club as a team! We recommend you choose one person to register the whole team. Each member's info will have to be entered in order to complete your team. There are directions on how to do this on the registration page!
Am I guaranteed a t-shirt?
Every person who enters will recieve a Bud Break t-shirt, however only those who register by April 20 will be guaranteed their size!
Are dogs allowed at Bud Break?
Dogs are not allowed during this race, however they are encouraged to attend at our fall 5k, Fall About Dogs!
Can I run or walk with my stroller?
Yes of course! However for safety reasons, you will be asked to start the race at 9:05 with the walkers.
Are there awards?
Yes! Awards will be held in the Sensory Garden parking lot after the Daffodil Dash!
What is there to do after the race?
Show your race bib in the gift store and recieve 10% off! And don't forget to check out the rest of our grounds, including 16 miles of hiking trails and 36 botanical gardens!
